HighLevel Affiliate Program: Commission, Tracking and Rules

A current-source guide to HighLevel’s own affiliate program—not the separate Affiliate Manager feature you can use to run a program for your business.

How does the HighLevel affiliate program work?

HighLevel operates a referral program for people who promote HighLevel itself. The current official affiliate signup page advertises a 40% recurring commission on active referred accounts. HighLevel’s support material also describes a second-tier structure, but the binding program agreement and policies control eligibility, attribution, payout and promotional conduct, so affiliates should recheck those documents before publishing commission claims.

This is different from HighLevel’s Affiliate Manager, which lets a HighLevel customer create campaigns and manage affiliates for their own offers. If your goal is to recruit partners for your own product, the Affiliate Manager—not the HighLevel referral program—is the relevant feature.

Current commission structure and eligibility

HighLevel’s current affiliate portal advertises 40% recurring commissions for active accounts referred through an affiliate link. An older official support article also describes a 5% recurring second-tier commission for paying agencies referred by an agency you introduced. Because program economics can change, treat the current agreement and portal as the controlling sources rather than relying on screenshots or older third-party reviews.

You do not need to invent a special tracking URL. Approved affiliates receive program tracking links through the affiliate portal. FunnelsMove’s own HighLevel affiliate relationship is disclosed separately; this article does not imply that every reader will be accepted or earn commissions.

Tracking, reports and payouts

The official affiliate portal is the place to find referral links, reports, commissions and payout information. HighLevel’s current support guide says the portal can show referred customers and payout reporting. Tracking still depends on the program’s attribution rules, so do not promise yourself or an audience that every click will produce credit.

Keep your own campaign records as well: note the page, campaign and date associated with a referral link. That helps you diagnose your marketing without changing or masking the official tracking mechanism.

Program rules matter as much as commission

HighLevel’s Affiliate Program Services Agreement and Program Policies were updated in June 2026. The policies require honest, accurate promotion and prohibit false or exaggerated claims. Affiliates should read the current rules before using paid ads, brand terms, incentives, testimonials or other promotional tactics because the permitted methods are governed by the program, not by generic affiliate-marketing advice.

FunnelsMove does not recommend building a promotion strategy around a commission percentage alone. A durable affiliate page should answer a real buyer question, disclose the commercial relationship and make clear where HighLevel is not a fit.

Who is the program most suitable for?

The program is most relevant to publishers, consultants, educators and agency-focused audiences that already discuss CRM, lead generation, marketing automation or agency operations. It is less compelling when the audience has little reason to buy an agency-oriented CRM platform.

If you are evaluating the product before promoting it, start with the HighLevel review, pricing guide and HighLevel platform hub. Affiliate economics should not substitute for product fit.

Before you apply or promote

  1. Read the current affiliate agreement and program policies.
  2. Confirm the commission and payout terms shown in your portal.
  3. Choose an audience with a genuine HighLevel use case.
  4. Disclose affiliate relationships clearly.
  5. Use accurate product claims backed by current sources.
  6. Track your own content performance without altering official referral attribution.

Attribution and commission risk to plan for

Affiliate revenue is conditional, not guaranteed recurring income. A referred customer can cancel, fail to qualify under the program rules, fall outside the applicable attribution path, or otherwise stop generating commission. Build forecasts around confirmed portal reporting rather than multiplying traffic by the headline commission rate.

HighLevel’s agreement and policies also matter if you use contractors, paid media or multiple properties. Keep a record of the current rules you relied on when a campaign launched, then review material program updates. If a promotion depends on a tactic the policy does not clearly permit, get clarification from the program rather than inferring permission.

Content strategy for a HighLevel affiliate

Useful affiliate content should help a reader make a software decision they were already considering. That can include pricing explanations, feature implementation guides, comparisons and use-case articles. It should also explain limitations and alternatives. A page written only to repeat the commission offer adds little value to a prospective customer.

Avoid claiming personal product results unless you can substantiate them. Keep time-sensitive pricing and feature claims linked to primary sources, and refresh them when HighLevel changes plans or product behavior. This approach aligns with the program’s current emphasis on honest and accurate promotion.
